Dental FAQs for Mexico City (Roma Sur)

Find clear answers about first visits, pricing, language support, travel planning, and follow-up at our Roma Sur clinic.

Treatments & diagnostics

Start here if you're deciding what kind of visit you need. These answers cover first visits, urgent problems, and how we confirm the right treatment.

What dental treatments do you offer?

We provide exams, cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns, implants, partial dentures, and full-arch options like All-on-4 / All-on-6. View dental services

What happens at my first visit?

Your first visit usually includes a conversation about your symptoms or goals, an exam, and only the imaging that is clinically needed. Before any treatment begins, we explain the diagnosis, options, timing, and pricing clearly.

Do you treat urgent dental problems?

Yes. Tooth pain, swelling, a broken tooth, a lost filling, or a loose crown should be checked quickly. See emergency dental care

Can I send records or X-rays before I come in?

Yes. You can send photos, X-rays, or previous notes before your visit. If they already answer the clinical question, we use them and only take new images when needed.

Booking & scheduling

Use this section for scheduling questions, virtual consults, and changes to your visit. Appointments are organized to stay clear and punctual.

Are visits by appointment only?

Yes. Visits are by appointment so we can keep them punctual, private, and sized correctly for each case. Book an appointment

Do you offer virtual consultations?

Yes. If you share photos, X-rays, or recent records, we can explain the likely next step and whether a video consult makes sense before you come in. Request an initial review

How soon can I usually be seen?

It depends on the type of visit and that week's schedule. If you share your dates or urgency, we'll offer the earliest options that make clinical sense. WhatsApp

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes. Message us as soon as you can. If your visit required a deposit or reserved a longer time block, the 24-hour policy may apply. See terms and policies

Payments, quotes & invoices

These answers cover quotes, currencies, payments, and insurance paperwork. The goal is simple: you should understand the plan and the cost before treatment starts.

How are prices confirmed?

After your exam or consultation, we provide a line-item estimate before treatment begins. If the clinical situation changes, we pause and explain the updated options and cost first.

Which currency do you bill in?

Official billing is in MXN. If helpful, we can also share USD equivalents, but card charges are processed in MXN and your bank handles the conversion.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, cards, and Mexican bank transfers. For some deposits or longer bookings, we can also send secure card-payment links.

Do you bill insurance directly?

No. We do not bill insurers directly. If you need reimbursement paperwork, tell us before or at checkout and we'll explain which receipts, treatment details, images, or forms we can prepare. Final coverage depends on your policy.

Do you offer payment plans for larger treatments?

For extensive multi-visit treatment, payment timing can often be split by phase. We explain deposits, lab-related timing, and the remaining balance before you start.

Safety & sterilization

If clinic standards are part of your decision, start here. We keep it practical: sterilization, imaging, and the clinic's legal details.

What sterilization protocols do you follow?

We follow current Mexican standards for dental care and specialized clinic infrastructure, including NOM-013-SSA2-2015 and NOM-005-SSA3-2018; treatment rooms are disinfected between patients and disposables are single-use.

Do you use digital X-rays?

Yes. Digital X-rays are available and used when clinically indicated. If recent images already answer the clinical question, we may not need to repeat them.

Do you have a COFEPRIS registration number?

Yes. The clinic lists COFEPRIS A.P. 2509152002A00242 in its legal details. Ask for the clinic details

Communication & language

Clear communication matters even more when you're comparing treatment or traveling for care. These answers cover language support and written documents.

Do you speak English?

Yes. Our team supports patients in English and Spanish from first contact through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

Can my plan, receipt, and aftercare be in English?

Yes. Estimates, receipts, and aftercare instructions can be prepared in English when you need them. Contact us

Can you guide me before I travel?

Yes. If you send symptoms, photos, recent X-rays, or previous records, we can explain the likely next step and whether a virtual consult makes sense before you travel.

Aftercare & follow-up

Treatment does not end when you leave the chair. This section covers written instructions, remote follow-up, and what to do if something comes up later.

Do you provide aftercare instructions?

Yes. Every procedure includes written aftercare instructions and the follow-up recommendation that fits the treatment.

What if I have a problem after I return home?

Message us for a remote follow-up. We'll review symptoms, photos, or X-rays and help you understand whether you need local care, a medication review, or another step. WhatsApp

Can you share information with my local dentist if needed?

Yes. If follow-up needs to happen near home, we can share the clinical information or images that help your local dentist understand what was done and what should be reviewed.

Travel planning

If you're coming from outside Mexico City or from abroad, plan the trip around the treatment, not the other way around. These answers keep travel expectations realistic.

How long should I plan to stay for treatment?
